Hello Grade 3's!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and lots of opportunities to get outside. My family and I kept ourselves pretty busy biking, jumping on our trampoline, and playing four-square together. We had a great time!
Math
This week in Math we are going to move on to looking at Fractions as: Fractions of a Set. Please watch the following Loom Lesson for more details. If you have any questions please let me know.
Fraction Lesson - Loom
This week I have assigned one IXL skill to practice. Please use this extra time to either get caught up on any assigned skills that you haven't completed and/or explore other areas in Math by completing skills listed on your IXL Recommended page.
Language
Thank you to all of the students who have already handed in their Creative Writing Stories (link). They look fantastic! You can continue to work on Reading and Writing in your Readers Notebooks. If you have any entries that you would like to share with me I'd love to see them.
For those who haven't completed the assignment please do not to worry. There is no rush. Writing is a process that takes time and practice. Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help your child in any way.
Have a great week,
Mr. Moodie
